Recently in the news we could read that Lamborghini decided to discontinue the line of Estoque because of the economic crisis and situation at the market. Let's remember Estoque is a prototype presented in Paris Auto Salon in 2008, one luxury four doors coupe, in line with Porsche Panamera or Aston Martin Rapide. Nevertheless they wanted to do a few clarifications on this matter.
Estoque line could not be discontinued because they never made a decision to launch its production. The bulletin says that the third model in this type of cars could be a logical decision, but that they did not make a decision concerning it. The source of these news seems to be the British magazine Bus. They also mentioned the company will eliminate the manual six speed transmission in favor of automatic transmission with piloted clutch, because DSG is too soft. From all this information we can draw conclusion if a car of Estoque type appears it will have another name.
